A little background history of my MMO experience

I first started playing MMO’s when City Of Heroes (CoH) came out and i was hooked. I Played it for a good 2 years and enjoyed every second of it, The people I met in the game became good friends in “Real-Life” and if it wasn’t for lack of things to do after you hit the big five o I would still be playing.

About a year into playing CoH I got talked into giving World Of Warcraft (WoW) a try and at first I was amazed at how huge the game felt but I quickly grew bored of the slower pace compared to CoH and went back to my home. With City Of Villians (CoV) just around the corner things looked good for my choice of MMO. After CoV was released I was disapointed It felt like the same game with a different skin so i took a break and never really went back.

After talking constantly to my CoH friends I finaly decided on giving WoW another shot and this time I was hooked! This was only 3 months ago so I’m only level 35 but loving the game.

Then a problem reared its ugly head… All of my WoW friends had started talking about a new MMO called Age Of Conan (AoC) and had all decided to move on to it. What follows is my account so far after deciding to join them.

Ok so i went out and bought the Collectors Edition even after i knew I would have issues with the Account Key not working but was pleasently suprised when they emailed me a new key within 10 mins.

After waiting 2 hours for the updater to verify all my game files I got into the game and was pleased with how good it was but… the game seemed to run like a bitch on my rig so i did some digging and tried to source the problem only to find no answers.

I decided to format my PC and start from scratch it had needed doing for a while anyway and as of writting this I’m just reinstalling the game fingers crossed I’ll update tomorrow.
